I'm starting something new where I'll share some of the things I've been discovering instead of keeping them all to myself.
An ADULT queer comic series: Grand Slam Romance by Ollie Hicks and Emma Oosterhous.
I stumbled across this series entirely by accident. I wasn’t searching for anything specific when I found it. Television had become repetitive and boring, plus I’m on another break from social media. I found myself in the comic/Manga section, a place I hadn’t explored until recently. I browsed until I stumbled upon this series and started with the second book, Major League Hotties, and loved it. The lighthearted storytelling and vibrant artwork captivated me.
I must admit, I had a great time reading it.
The vibrant colors, humorous dialogue, and my confusion about the league’s workings are what drew me in. I read the entire series in one day. The final book was released in May 2025, so there won’t be another installment to anticipate. However, I’m glad I found something that kept me engaged from the beginning.
Now, the content of this series surprised me. It’s not my usual preference regarding relationship dynamics, but it was intriguing to see how they unfolded here. One thing I’ll note is that it’s SUPER queer. (This will be a recurring theme in my discoveries, so watch the tags of each post.) I was smiling and laughing the entire time reading it, which is something I didn’t expect when I found it.
My Suggestion For Fellow Queer Content Fans
Get it. Read it.

I won’t be rating any of what I share on this site. If it made it here, that means I want you to be aware of it too, if you aren’t already. Also, everyone should have a library card.
